Why We're Here

Established in October of 1973, Pioneer Baptist Church was established to reach Citrus Heights, the surrounding communities and the world with the eternity changing message of the gospel. Today, our mission REMAINS THE SAME.

In a time of uncertainty, turmoil and change, there must be a place where the eternal truths of God’s Word can be heard and understood. Because GOD IS TIMELESS, HIS CHARACTER NEVER CHANGES. Therefore, HIS TRUTH IS ALWAYS RELEVANT. We do not believe that our mission is to get in step with culture; rather, we believe that our mission is to call people to be in step with God. This belief permeates our theology, ministry philosophy and practice. 

We desire to proclaim the “NEVER-CHANGING TRUTH to an EVER-CHANGING WORLD.”
